From Gore Camp - Baltoro Glacier, Pakistan

I can't decide whether I prefer morning or evening light on Masherbrum (K1). After the transcendent sunset of the night before, who knew that this morning the sun could just flip it's key and light her up completely differently yet equally as beautifully.

We descended the Baltoro in perfect weather, and for the two days it took to walk past Masherbrum there felt like no end to her awesomeness - and the contemplation - did I prefer her features in morning or evening light?
